Nimonic 90 is a superalloy with Nickel, Cobalt, and Chromium as its base metals. It is a precipitation-hardenable alloy with excellent resistance against corrosive and oxidizing agents. Also, it exhibits terrific strength at temperatures as high as 704°C.

Being able to withstand heat, this alloy is preferred in numerous heat treatment industries, as well as in those industries that work with caustic or corrosive agents. It can be found in aerospace, gas and oil, and nuclear industries.

• High-temperature tolerance: This Nimonic alloy can withstand high temperatures without creeping and cracking, which makes it stand out amongst the other alloys.
• High strength: Nimonic alloy 90 is a very strong alloy, and what’s brilliant about this material is that it retains strength even in very hot temperatures, whereas most metals fail to survive. Hence, industries with machines operating at such temperatures make use of this alloy extensively.
• Resistance to corrosion and oxidation: Even when the environment is highly caustic, Nimonic 90 doesn’t give up. This alloy resists all forms of corrosive acids and gases and also prevents oxidation from hindering its performance.
